City won their last away game at Turf Moor 2-0, with Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling scoring for the Blues. Overall City have won 53 of the 108 games played against the Clarets, with 25 draws and 30 defeats.

Ruben Dias is again missing with a thigh problem, and is unlikely to feature in the upcoming games against Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. Manager Pep Guardiola believes that the Portuguese centre-half faces a further two weeks on the sidelines. Cole Palmer is the only other absentee from the squad that will travel to Turf Moor. April represents a stern test for Guardiola's side, but the City boss said that he is only currently thinking about the game on Saturday.

“We have to win the game at Burnley.

“We have a lot of games this month and every game will be the best available to select.

“People come back from international break, some less tired than others, people fitter than others.

“It depends on what and the opponent when we do the selection.

“Now it’s game by game and next it’s Burnley away which is always tough especially the way they play.

“I have incredible respect for Sean Dyche and the people because for many years, the consistency in ideas and the way they play.”
