Leroy Sane is the Bluemoon Player of the Month for February

German youngster wins award following a series of scintillating displays

Leroy Sane is the Bluemoon Player of the Month for February 2017. The 21 year old winger excelled in the 5-3 victory over Monaco in particular, scoring one and providing an assist for Raheem Sterling, and polled 49.7% of the vote.

It was a successful month for the Blues, with four wins out of the five games played, and Sane played the full 90 minutes in each victory. The German youngster had endured a difficult start to his City career following his summer move from Schalke 04, but is now an integral part of Pep Guardiola's side.

Raheem Sterling came second with 34.3% of the votes, following goals against West Ham, Bournemouth and Monaco, whilst David Silva, as consistent as ever, finished third.
