City to face AS Monaco in last 16 of Champions League

Blues handed favourable draw in first knock out stage

Manchester City will face AS Monaco in the Champions League Round of 16. The dates are still to be confirmed, with the first legs taking place on 14/15 and 21/22 February, and the second legs on March 7/8 and 14/15.

"Monaco are playing the best football in France right now - this will be a very difficult game for us," said Director of Football Txiki Begiristain. 

"We are just happy to be here and we are looking forward to this tie."
