Blues drawn with Barcelona, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic in Group C
City will face Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach in the group stages of the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League following Thursday's draw in Monaco. The teams were joined in Group C by Celtic in what looks, on paper, a difficult draw for the Blues.
Pep Guardiola's side qualified from their play-off tie comfortably, defeating Steaua Bucharest 6-0 on aggregate. Guardiola will be looking to emulate, or even improve on, last season's campaign whch saw the Blues reach the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history.
