Blues begin trophy defence with tough away trip
Manchester City will face Swansea City at The Liberty Stadium in the third round of the EFL Cup, following the draw on Wednesday night.
The Blues are the current cup holders, having defeated Liverpool on penalties in last season's final, but face a tough start to their defence of the trophy.
The tie is due to be played on the week commencing 19th September, and Pep Guardiola's side will also face Swansea in the league that weekend, making it two games against the Swans in a matter of days.
