Media round-up: Blues planning major overhaul in preparation for GuardiolaBony and Mangala likely to be moved on

The Telegraph report that City are planning a costly overhaul in preparation for Pep Guardiola's arrival at The Etihad. The likes of Eliaquim Mangala, Wilfried Bony, Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri are thought to be amongst the high-profile casualties. The article claims that John Stones is a primary target, and that the Blues also want to add a new forward, central midfielder and wide players.

The Sun, meanwhile, claim that Sergio Aguero is a target for Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants plan a £250m Premier League raid before their transfer ban kicks in. Eden Hazard and David De Gea are also rumoured to be on their hit-list.

The inexplicable signing of Anthony Caceres to City has been confirmed by Central Coast Mariners. The Australian midfielder is expected to be immediately loaned back to an A-League side.

Finally, Sky Sports News claim that the Blues are preparing a £19m bid for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl. Pep Guardiola is thought to be a huge admirer of the young midfielder.
