City to face Palace in Capital One Cup

Blues given home tie after defeating Sunderland in round three

City have been handed a home tie against Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

The Blues beat Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday to set up the clash, which will see managers Manuel Pellegrini and Alan Pardew resume hostilities. The pair clashed again recently during a stormy encounter at Selhurst Park, which City won 1-0 thanks to a late Kelecki Iheanacho goal.

The ties will be played on 27 and 28 October.
