Samir Nasri has been ruled out of Sunday's game against his former club with a calf injury, and manager Manuel Pellegrini expects him to be sidelined for up to four weeks.

"We have some problems during the week with Samir Nasri. He has a calf injury so he will not be fit for the next game", said Pellegrini.

He added that Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero have returned to full fitness, and that Edin Dzeko is a doubt for the game. Yaya Toure and new signing Wilfried Bony are unavailable for selection due to the African Cup of Nations.

City's last home game against Arsenal ended in 6-3 thriller, with Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Fernandinho (2), David Silva and Yaya Toure getting the goals. Overall City have won 36 of the 155 games played against Arsenal, with 38 draws and 81 defeats.
