David Silva wins December Player of the Month Award

Midfielder returned from injury to score four goals

David Silva has won the Bluemoon Player of the Month award for December, with the mercurial Spaniard taking 45% of the vote. Samir Nasri was second with 22%, and James Milner came third with 11%.

Silva actually missed the first three games of the month through injury, but returned to the side in the 1-0 victory at Leicester.

He went on to score twice against Crystal Palace, and also netted against West Bromwich Albion and Burnley.
