One of the hottest properties in football right now is Moussa Dembele. Not the one that plays so well for Spurs although if he did become available there would not be a shortage of top clubs fighting for his signature. It is the Celtic Dembele that will ignite a bidding war this summer. He has been outstanding this season and stood out in this season's Champions League.

Real Madrid is the favorites to sign the forward but Manchester City is reportedly extremely keen to sign the player and are going to try everything they can to tempt him to join. Also in the hunt for his signature is PSG who are from his native country which may be a reason in his decision-making. With three of the world's richest clubs all wanting the player, it will greatly increase his valuation and will be interesting to see which wins the bidding war.

Dembele has been banging the goals in this season and has built himself a reputation as one of the best young forwards in the Europe. His scoring record this campaign for Celtic is one of the best and is flying high in the European goal scoring charts.

So far this campaign he has provided six assists and scored twenty-seven goals in forty-one appearances. Since joining Celtic from Fulham in the summer he has been on top form and shown a level of consistency that only the best are able to achieve. The forward has been vital for Celtic and they will find it nearly impossible to replace him.

Dembele was close to joining a number of clubs in the EPL with Spurs and Chelsea both trying to secure a deal for him when he left Fulham. It was not to be though and Celtic got themselves a bargain.

Many thought that Dembele would be off in the transfer window just passed but Celtic was able to hold onto their star player. With the likes of Liverpool, Man U, Spurs, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all keeping track of the situation it will be almost impossible for his club to hold onto him once the transfer window opens once again. At only 20 years old he is still a raw talent but has huge potential if he makes the correct career choices and stays injury free.

Dembele would make a great signing to Manchester City as they need to find a replacement for the aging and injury prone Sergio Aguero. They signed Gabriel Jesus but it may take him a long time to settle in a new country and league. Guardiola also has Kelechi Iheanacho at his disposal but managing to sign the Celtic forward would be the icing on the cake. The Blues would have one of the most exciting young lines of attack in Europe.

It is believed that Real Madrid will also be in the market to sign a forward during the summer as Zidane wants to replace current players Alvaro Morata and Karim Benzema. Signing Dembele would make sense but it may be a big too early in his career to make the step up needed to play alongside Bale and Ronaldo.
