David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta all miss out as City seek to secure qualification for next season's Champions League at the Liberty Stadium. Aleksandar Kolarov, meanwhile, faces a late fitness test on a msucular injury.

It had looked as though a top four finish would be out of City's hands, but Manchester United's 3-2 defeat at West Ham on Tuesday night has given the Blues a lifeline. A win or draw on Sunday would suffice for Manuel Pellegrini's side in his final game in charge, but the Chilean has warned his players against complacency.

Pellegrini said: "We’ve been in the Champions League places all season so I hope we can do it with a win this weekend.

"I want to finish playing the way we did against Arsenal. I was disappointed with the way we played against Real Madrid as that’s not our team.

"The game is very difficult. Maybe after the Arsenal game everyone thought we were eliminated, but now it has flipped around the other way so we must be very careful."

City's last away game at the Liberty Stadium ended in a 4-2 victory, with Yaya Toure (2), James Milner and Wilfried Bony getting the goals. Overall City have won 11 of the 15 games played against Swansea, with one draw and three defeats.
