City reportedly beat off competition for the signature of young Frenchman Jules Ntcham, the teenager is said to have attracted interest from a number of top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan. Ntcham, turned down the opportunity to sign a professional contract with Le Havre and signed for City in August 2012.
On 28 August 2015, Genoa signed Ntcham on a two-year loan with an option to buy
