A strong and assured goalkeeper, Billy O’Brien proved his worth in City’s junior sides to earn a two-year scholarship at City’s Academy in July 2012 Billy was a regular for the u16s last season thanks to his excellent distribution and handling. The Bury-born keeper has excellent reach thanks to his 6ft stature and is excellent at claiming crosses, providing confidence for the defence in front of him
January 2017-Joined St Mirren on loan until the end of the season
